Ice cream factory gets cool front end
Aqua cooling specialize in air conditioning systems. This particular project was for an ice cream factory in Leeds. The system employed a Siemens S7 PLC and Siemens Protool touch screen HMI. We used graphics from our extensive library to give the HMI a polished professional look. All level set points were configurable within the system, configured set points were then displayed graphically on all the tanks to give operators good visual feedback. The pumps were animated when running with indicators to show if in manual or Auto. A thorough fault indication system was also added which included an annunciator window for easy pinpointing of faults.
